Nice shot.

Lacking good focus and clarity. Astral shots are something I havenb't done much at all so I don't know what is involved but I have seen excellent moon photos. This one needs a little more crispness and contrast I think.

Just a few thoughts to share with you. The era of digital cameras have opened a new realm of instant acknowledgement of our works. These moon snaps are the result of the wild experiment I tried out on the roof-top with my new FinePix S5500 on a cloudy night (the darkness on the left is from the approaching cloud). I could never have done that this easy with my normal SLR/Point-Shoot cameras. I am still saving for a digital SLR but surely all these experiments and your comments will help me take much better snaps later.

Yep. the digital era is certainly a wonderful thing for expirmentation> I shot about 50 pics of the moon a couple nights ago and haven't looked at them yet but it did cost me a nickle to do it.

I really like this pic. I have taken numerous beautiful pics of the full moon and they are nice, but basically boring. This one looks sort of mystical and maybe even a little scary. I like it. Have fun with your new digital and when you can get an SLR, you will have a ball! Lynn
