kamiel_lonneville 0 Posted May 22, 2005 Very nice composition, very strong picture: attracted my attention immediately. But a few remarks: 1) is the watermark in the center realy necessary? It adds nothing to the picture, on the contrary. 2) The lighthouse is a very black silhouet. A little bit of detail could maybe make it stronger, but that is of course a personal interpreatation. renny 0 Posted May 28, 2005 I agree with Kris. The picture stands quite strongly on its own. The watermark only detracts. Link to comment

ken_thalheimer 3,739 Posted July 25, 2005 I like the lighthouse far to the left. The boat gives a great balance and the birds the triangle Link to comment
dantalpau 0 Posted September 27, 2005 This is quite beautiful. I would try to crop a bit from the bottom, this way the horizon line wouldn't be so centered. Also the watermark is distracting. best regards, Link to comment
kickniko 0 Posted September 3, 2006 Images don't have to use bright colors and extraordinary shapes in order to be strong. And here we have another proof of that. A lighthouse and a boat with a fishermen, the horizon as a separating soft line between heaven and the sea. And that's all in this aesthetically wonderful image. Quite often we see similar scapes but here we have the aesthetics of reduction to the minimum. To the absolut essence of such a scape. And it might be that beauty hits us strongest, when it is simplest! Congratulations and best wishes, Nick Link to comment
