The same tree than in the previous post, taken from the other side.

You can see in the distance a part of the Montagne pel饬 the volcano

whose last eruption, in 1905, destroyed totaly the town of Saint-

Pierre.

Thank you to rate and comment.

Thank you for your comments.

Bartek, it is interesting what you say, because yes, The scan of this one and the previous have been made by a labo (not the panoramic of the Montagne pelee). Though, I can't see what sort of artifact you talk of. All what I can say is that I have obscured a bit the sky in order to make it more intersting, and perhaps is it not very well done.

Henri, a very attractive shot with the colours again making it really sing. I agree with Bartek there seems to be (maybe) a problem with the scan.

Thank you all for your comments. I think I understand what artifacts you talk of. Is it the little area slightly brighter compared with the sky brightness around the flowers ? It is probably due to the treatment I made to the sky to darken it and give more relief to the clouds. It is possible that I have not engouh isolate the flowers in doing this. Now, I think you have better eyes than me for I don't see a a very serious problem here.

Henri, an outstanding photo where the colors pop to the occasion. This looks like a beautiful painting. Cheers, Sondra
