Leaf II

I was fascinated by this leaf. I did upload a similar picture earlier. I like them both.

 

The question is, "Do you?"

I like this one just a bit more with your signature angle. The bottom right bokeh seems a tad off. Is that natural or PS. Maybe feathered in a bit more.

Scoota, This is how it came out of the camera. (The chilli was added!) I am not sure if the jpg compression has added to the effect you mention. I can certainly see it is more of a problem at the bottom right than the top left.

 

I must investigate.

 

I am glad you noticed the tilt. It seems I am not tilting as often as I used to.

I think the perspective from which the leaf is captured is more interesting than that of the original version. However, I prefer the fact that more of the background and less of the leaf is shown in the original version - I think this is what allows the leaf to evoke one's affection for it there.
