lars raun 0 Posted May 21, 2005 can't believe noone has commented on this photograph. Has got to be the most interesting scenery I've seen. Foreground speaks for it self, but the backdrop *drops jaw* its surreal. A sky made of sand. How high do you think those sanddunes were? Thanks for sharing such original work. Link to comment
joshua pearson 0 Posted May 21, 2005 Dionys, This is an excellent image. It seems that there are some people here who think this is a composite image. The Namib desert has dunes that reach to the sky. For some other surreal images, which include shots in Namibia like this, check out Art Wolfe's book "Edge of the Earth, Corner of the Sky." Dionys, like Art Wolfe, seems to have an eye for the surreal landscape. Great work! Link to comment
davidroossien 0 Posted May 21, 2005 Incredible backdrop. The smoothness and gradually changing tones/color of the background is fantastic. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 21, 2005 No, I doubt this is a composite image. Namibia scenary actually looks like this. I have seen many images from this area and they are similar. Lovely image! Link to comment

lekrishark 0 Posted May 24, 2005 This is a wonderful snap with a terrific scale of the background..! But there seems to be a slight loss of clarity in focus in the center...am wondering why..! Tremendous shot overall. Link to comment
