Mountains of Tibet

F8.3 @ 1/195s, ISO100.

Taken in the mountain regions outside of Lhasa, Tibet. Altitude was ~3600m, so altitude sickness was kicking in. Thank goodness for sufficient lighting, because my arms were a bit wobbly and I didn't have a tripod with me.

Great shot considering the situation.

 

Composition and tones are wonderful.

 

I wish "Sherpa"'s (sp?) face was visible but still this is a great shot.

Excellent play of the sunlight and shadows on the mountain. If this were mine, it would be on a wall where many people could enjoy it....Jim

Awesome! Rich in texture! Great shadows on the mountain, although it would have been nice to see a little more detail on the man's face. Bravo!
