Very nice portrait, I like this in B&W better, the face comes out more clearly, and it is a beautiful face. Clearly you are far more professional that I am, and have already a lot of experience, got your lighting really nicely under control, and do good post production. This image comes across very professional.

So, if you wish, I will be really nit picky here and point out some very minor things on your near perfect photo, for you to think about:

The top right corner has a funny patterns in the oof background. This should not happen with such fancy equipment.

Also, I think she is smiling just that little bit too much. Nothing wrong here, but she looks ever so slightly nervous, and puts on a just too big smile, giving that little crease on her upper lip. But this may just be me...

Try burning in the foliage growing out of the top of her head- its a bit distracting, otherwise nice shot.

Thanks both for the feedback. The out of focus pattern you see on the far right in the back is a factor of the 27-70 2.8L Canon lens. It has what I think Canon calls it a 9 blade appeture diaphram which throws focus the way you see it. I can't find it in Canon's literature but I know it's supposed to do it differently than the old 28-70. I like it. You may be seing JPG artifacts.

I agree about the light and burning it in... thanks.

Actually... upon review, you are looking at a small palm tree in the front of the other foilage which is out of focus... it does look like an aberation.... thanks
