pdoyle 0 Posted May 18, 2005 Stunning! While I don't think this looks technically believable as a single exposure (and indeed, you indicate it is a composite), I think the result of the composite is beautiful and very well done. The light on the tulips is so nice, and I find the proportions of flowers and trees in the frame just right. Link to comment
jaap_hart 0 Posted May 19, 2005 A digital composition of two different shots, The tulips from Egmond and the trees from Beemster, Netherlands. Link to comment
christian deichert 1 Posted May 19, 2005 This is an interesting composite. The only thing that makes this unbelievable for me is the difference in lighting between the tulips and the background; you can tell that there is a soft morning light on the flowers that does not appear in the background. That doesn't stop me from liking the result, though. Link to comment

edbook 0 Posted May 20, 2005 excellent image... from the warm advancing flowers to the receding cool background... I also like how you included a narrow band between the two. I think the lack of reflections in the flowers is very much a plus in this image. 'an inspiration for my morning... Peace Link to comment
jana 1 Posted June 17, 2005 The most beautiful "Tulip composition" I have seen. cheers jana Link to comment
dennisdixson 0 Posted June 21, 2005 My first thought was, "Perfect composition." Very clever composite but I almost wish you had let me admire it for a while without disclosing the details. In any case I am impressed as usual. I think the blue-gray compliments the yellow very well. Blue (cool) shadows do not look out of place at all and in fact, some photographers specifically look for natural boundries between cool and warm colors. Galen Rowell was a master at that type of composition. Very nice work. Link to comment
rajhans.raut 0 Posted September 20, 2006 Very good shot. But why Tulips are not looking real? Link to comment
