Nicely done. The light is perfect. BW is a nice choice. I like the light in her hair and in her eyes. The space in front of her gives the photo room to breathe.

I keep returning to this portrait for another look.First rate.Very natural & unposed look to it.Composition is appealing.Regards.

I very much like this pose, the "I am NOT smiling" look. I also think you got the toning just right to make for a very compelling portrait.

The photo looks somewhere between natural/spontaneous and posed. The background does not give a clue where the photo was taken. I think this adds to the portrait, though my favorite portraits tend to be the spontaneous ones.

Very good photo overall.

I like this a lot, and think the glint of sun off her hair is great as well as those wonderful eyes. The only negative is that the background strikes me as too busy and not great bokeh - even though I like the composition, you might consider trimming on the right so there's less of that background. Still, this one would get blown up big and put on a wall at my house.

This one is amazing !

The perfect composition with the girl's face in the upper left corner of the frame, the perfect defocusing of the background and the glance in her eyes. Masterpiece !

I remember the title of one of your former portrait was "attempt at a classic portrait".

Well, this time the attempt is completely succesful.

I can't see anything weak or even imperfect here. Cropping, greys, background, light, attitude...The perfect portrait.

And I hate this rating system: this is not particularly original, but originality is obviously not the point here. I considered that such a quality was a way to be original and rated it 7/7.

An amazing, almost haunting candid portrait with not a flaw to be found. Beautiful work, Galina. --jim
