Well, this is pretty neat. I feel the need to rotate it 90 degrees R (hacia la derecha) so that it is a "Thumbs Up" in vertical portrait orientation. When you say you "try to obtain details in the area of shades", I don't know if you mean you seek greater detail in the ahadows of this image or that you are investigating into some area of lost souls. I think you should turn this into a "Thumbs Up" picture so that it looks less like you are about to squash that poor insect with your thumb like some sort of cockroach. What a strange critique I have just written...

Estupenda. La diagonal que separa la zona de sombra y la de luz es, desde mi punto de vista, el alma de la foto. Un fuerte contraste y cierta suavidad de los grises en la zona derecha, acaban por completar un todo excelente. Lo dicho, estupenda fotografia.

I think this is good but for a detail. The butterfly ( looks like a butterfly) is burned and partly invisible. I read these are studies with a strong natural light source, yet I think it would be more effective if it was more visible in fact.

Mario, I read your reply under one of my images. I partly agree and I did notice the play on light and shadows on the hand. I know that the insect was not your main interest, anyway, my comment was dictated by how I liked the clinging position of the insect and just wanted to see the other wing. For sure it is an original image.

Thanks again.
