Japanese Red Maple

I wanted to capture what I feel is the essence of this plant. This

image felt as though I was on the right track. I specifically

composed with negative space to emphasize the individual strands of

the delicate leaves, and create an open, calm feeling which I feel the

green background does. I appreciate your feedback on this image...
