rrohan 0 Posted May 16, 2005 The Maori are the native inhabitants of New Zealand. Traditionally, when strangers came to a Maori village. The Maori would approach cautiously, exhibiting their Haka, or fierceness (basically saying they are scarry, dangerous warriors, better not fool with them). Here the chief of the village cautiously approaches. He wares numerous tattoos on his face and body showing his status. Link to comment
