mcgarity 0 Posted May 15, 2005 Old weathered wood has a photographic appeal that is undeniable. Why I don't have a clue. But I do know its so. This is a very nice photo. Well done. 6/6 Link to comment
louise bridge 0 Posted May 15, 2005 Cool. Blue. I like the little bits of tape at the top. Well, I think they're bits of tape, anyway, but sometimes I get these things confused when I try to identify things I see in images on P/N. And I like the yellow patches that contrast. Cool. Link to comment
marvt 0 Posted May 16, 2005 Has everything I look for in this type of image, contrast(both local and between elements ie. colors),interesting texture, an interesting pallette. As others said the blue is very well done. The cubist or at least cubic design is top notch. Thanks for sharing. Link to comment
louise bridge 0 Posted May 16, 2005 Gee, Thank You Marv for explaining so much so well regarding what I really meant. Link to comment
salvatore.mele 1 Posted May 17, 2005 This is a very good game of layers and contrasts: the blue is vertical and layered over the horizontal brown. And cold colours are layered on top of warm ones. These shots have the habit of looking a bit static, but the angle of that blue paint to the bottom left and the stitches in white give lots of dynamism to this one. Link to comment
