zone focus ... hip shot ... no manipulation

from a series of street shots of "bike nite" on Beale street.

This type of shooting is not fine art (more of a get what ya get thing)... zone focusing (just guessing the length and pre-setting) is a real adventure especially at f2... and combined with not useing the viewfinder (hip shot) ... This setting was available light only, street lights and neon. The lens was a Summicron 40mm at f2 with Kodak 400 ultra color, the scan Fuji Frontier ... Thanks for your thoughtful comments.

It was good for you that you did not use flash gun. As a result, it delivers extremely natural skin tone and nice balance between men and the background.
