Please view large - to avoid visible JPG compression around theletters in the small version, among others.

This picture captures one of the texts displayed on the fassade of the"Secession (the name of the maybe better known as Art Nouveaumovement) house" in Vienna, Austria, by architect Otto Wagner.

The back of the Austrian 50 cents coin displays it: the back facadebig, the front facede smaller, and even this text, tiny, but I couldread it.

There are more photos of this building in the Austria folder - I waslucky with the evening sun making the golden doom glance (and chasedit when it comes out of the clouds ;) ).

Thanks for your time, ratings and comments

Maria

There's too much distracting blown highlight on the left side of image, that is perhaps the reason why this photo is so unsuccesfull (there are 2 ratings with an average of 2.5/3 to this time). Otherwise I can't see anything wrong about it. Regards,

Hi Robert,

thanks for the comment.

Well, the sky was like that.

The sun was hiding behind clouds, on the left (West), in the afternoon about 6 pm, and I chased the moment if came out from the clouds to light the dome - it probably also lighted the clouds ...

I rather thought people failed to see the larger version ... the JPG compression in the first version one gets when clicking on it is indeed not aesthetic, but that is not my work ...

kind regards

Maria
