Did you find your pot full of gold coins?

I came to appreciate that those shots really call for luck and good control of all factors in a short time: the light will never let you think too much.I like how you composed it with that tree anchoring the view in the foreground and filling the space the rainbow leave below. I need not mention how intoxicating the greens are: I guess you were there and felt it even more... I can almost smell the air.

I like that I can clearly see the second rainbow to the top right while it did not show up well enough in a similar picture which I also recently posted.

Well, that is a composition! the yellow line on the ground and the rainbow, are like forming a dom...the echo of the second hint of rainbow is seen clearly( Salvatore I don't think you have a reason to complain on your beautiful one....) and the tree on the right is a real nice addition, let alon the colors.

Yes! right on time and place. Pnina

Marielou ... stupendous is a 'stupendous' word. Thanks for your nice comment.

Per ... I don't know if this is art ... but I know it was pouring down in the direction of the rainbow, th esky was even darker than it looks here ... and behind me the sun was clear and bright... and I had the camera by the hand. My only wish is that I could have had the whole rainbow in the objektiv .... I want a very wide angle objektive. Thanks for your words and for being generous.

Salvatore .. you are right. Not much time to think when the rainbow is there ... just to shoot and then hope you didn't put the white balance down to 3500 Kelvin the night before ... did that once and all my photos of the snowstorm the following day got quite blue ... he he ... then you can learn.

I have been looking at your rainbow too ... it's gorgeous I think.

I didn't find the pot of gold .... if you can translate 'the pot of gold' to be similar with luck I was so lucky to meet with a friend I seldom have the posibility to meet with ... so in a way ... yes.

Pnina ... thank you so much. This is the scenery I can watch every day for the time being from my living room and bedroom ... fortunately with out the rain. Last year there were golden wheat on those fields. ... was nice to look at too.

Brad .. thanks ... was some bad weather those days.... cold and rain .. cold and rain ... sigh ...

Janet ... I would very much like to know how your rainbow looked ... SOL ... thanks for commenting.

Mari Mar ..... thanks .. so nice of you to comment on this one too.
