olli.pekonen 0 Posted May 14, 2005 Shot for a campaign of hair dressers... works perhaps as a portrait, too. Comments appreciated! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 15, 2005 Yes, it is ok, the light on the skin is good, general exposure is good, but:- for a hair shot you'd need a bit more contrast in the hair (light source closer)- I would not crop a beautiful breastline - alternatively crop tighter- Her chin has too much weight (slight tilt towards camera perhaps cures)I'd put a lot of emphasis on the shines on the hair. It hast to be discrete shines rather than uniformly illuminated surface. You could try to PS a curves adjustment layer, add mask and feather it open in the hair area. Link to comment
olli.pekonen 0 Posted May 15, 2005 Juha: hard to disagree with you on your points. We actually had severe space limitations as we shot on location, and thus the light arrangement was not at all optimal. The pictures were also uploaded in the wee wee hours just to let the anctious models to see them as soon as possible, and thus the processing was quite minimal. Link to comment
