one of many from Wembley on Wednesday night - it was an awesome

concert - this was exactly the effect I was after, so was very happy

with this one. More in my folder from the gig.

Cheers, Neil

probably one of the best ones from this gig of yours, very iconic, and i like your copyright notice still in the corner ;-)

how do you find that sigma 70-200 as i'm considering between it and the IS Canon version for my live shooting? how slow can you handhold it for live shooting?

Hi James, yes this is probably my favourite along with the one of Brian facing away into the lights and crowd. Kept the copyright on there because until the contract is finalised, they are still mine!!! ;-)

The 70-200 is a beauty - shutter speeds were high cos the lighting was so wonderful but with a bit of practice you can shoot at 1/125 at 200mm handheld.

I just thought I would throw in my two cents since I used the sigma for a while and now I use the canon 70-200IS. The biggest difference really wasn't in the sharpness for me,it was being able to hand hold down to 1/8th, no kidding. Although that slow of a speed doesn't always work to well. The canon is also much more resistant to the smoke and beer, or whatever else the crowd is throwing around. I also had problems with the camera mount end of the sigma comming lose every three or four shows, after putting some lock tight on the screws the problem seemed to be fixed. Cheers...

with my 24-70 i regularly handhold at 70mm at 1/30th so the ability to do that at 200mm would be amazing, whether it's worth the extra $1000 over the Sigma, I don't know
