I am very impressed with the incredible skill involved in this, Every element technically is well controlled particularly the lighting, and even the emotional tenor of the picture is masterfully crafted. However, given that, I personally do not like this oversaturated, highly processed and manipulated type of photo. It looks less photographical and more just a graphic, which is fine. For that school of thought that always wanted photography to emulate painting, and I'm thinking of Steiglitz and the photo seccesionist etc. it would be intersting to hear their thoughts on this. I will say at the end of the day it looks like a painting. If that is what you were going for, you certainly achieved it but the manipulation also makes think the mood is over manipulated and contrived as well. Please, this is only intended to be constructive, you obviously have the skill to do anything you want. Cheers:) Link to comment
