afterthoughts 0 Posted May 12, 2005 I find that white flowers are difficult to phootograph. You did exceptionally well in making this image. Regards, Howard Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted May 12, 2005 Nice contrast, white IS hard to photograph and retain the details. Perect exposure. Super DOF! I love the dew/rain? Link to comment
home page1 0 Posted May 12, 2005 I have found the same thing with white flowers. The highlights are easily blown out. That's why I tried a -2/3 EV on this one. I'd much rather underexpose and bring it up than overexpose and have nothing to work with. Link to comment

wilsontsoi 0 Posted May 13, 2005 Ken, nice exposure to keep detail in the white flowers. The droplets add a lot to the image. ^_^ Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted May 14, 2005 The triangle display of the flower in the square frame is a very nice choice Ken, I like the brown/yellow parts in the white flower, compatible to the dark brown backgrown. The frame and the water drops are adding as well. lovely image. Pnina Link to comment
jmcconnell2 0 Posted May 16, 2005 I love the sharp focus and crisp details, Excellent shot, 7/7 Link to comment
jvophotography 0 Posted May 22, 2005 Anyone who has shot white flowers knows how hard it is to keep detail in the petals like this. GREAT job there Ken. I'd be tempted to blacken out th ebackgroun just to see how it would look since the detail is so nice in the petals. Overall great job. Link to comment
raywei 0 Posted May 25, 2005 Close, sharp, contrasty -- all the elements that impress me. Well done. Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted May 25, 2005 A bunch of flowers full of drops: that's poetic! Really well done in details, light. Link to comment
