I have found the same thing with white flowers. The highlights are easily blown out. That's why I tried a -2/3 EV on this one. I'd much rather underexpose and bring it up than overexpose and have nothing to work with.

The triangle display of the flower in the square frame is a very nice choice Ken, I like the brown/yellow parts in the white flower,compatible to the dark brown backgrown.The frame and the water drops are adding as well. lovely image. Pnina

Anyone who has shot white flowers knows how hard it is to keep detail in the petals like this. GREAT job there Ken. I'd be tempted to blacken out th ebackgroun just to see how it would look since the detail is so nice in the petals.
