Emerald beacon

A Spring afternoon the sun breaking through the heavy sky washing the

grass cliffs of Skyes most westerly point with glorious sunshine and

bringing a sparkle to the sea.

I like the light and the strong shapes. Too bad the lighthouse gets a little lost.

 

 

Hi, I love it, excellent DOF with such a hazy horizon, the emerald hues are similar to Ireland. I feel motivated to get out and try to get something half as good with my Fuji g690bl.

I particularly like the composition, cracking.

By including so much water to the right, you've shown the subject in proportion to its vast surroundings. Yet, it looks incredibly massive because of the smallness of the man-made objects. Love the sheen on the water.

Great landscape, very well composed! Spectacular perspective

There is a similar area in the St. John (U.S. Virgin islands) called Ram's head but that is not so green. It was an incredible feeling going to the tip of that... I never got to see that locatin in this kind of light this just evoked the same feeling again, and more... Beautiful!
