Angel's Wing

oswegophoto

Some selective softening has been applied to the large areas of plain sky, in an attempt to reduce the noise in the scan.

Nicolae, thanks for your comment. It's a cloud (see Details for more). You're right: the scan is noisy (it's from a Picture CD). I don't have the print right now; when I get it, I'll scan it myself and see if I can't make it better.

I am impressed with the pecularity of the clouds in Santa Cruz :)

as evening's light

spins melodies on the sky,

a harp sings the breeze.

Hello Don, As Bill put it this is a very good title for a very beautiful photograph, full of aerian grace. Congratulations.

P.S.: Don, may I say that I miss your thoughtful comments? I'm not very sure about my English at times and I hope I didn't say anything wrong or unpleasant to you? If so I do apologise very sincerely!

Kindest regards,

Laurent.

Vi, thanks. I was pretty impressed by this cloud, too.

Richard, very cool: your poetic thoughts, and I find your image of a harp wonderful. Thanks!

Tonya, I agree completely. I am much in debt to Providence for the beauty around me.

Jana, short as always, and (also as always) sweet. Thank you.

Bill, thanks, this one's title seemed inescapable.

Laurent, merci beacoup. "Aerian grace" — very poetic yourself. And I apologize if my absence has caused concern. Sometimes I have time for photography and PhotoNet, other times, life decrees otherwise. In no way have you offended, and your English is far better than my mainly computer-generated French. I'll stop by again soon, and try to be thoughtful. Later: Laurent, you realize, I hope, you make leaving comments difficult, when you remove your portfolio. :-(
