White tower in Thessaloniki - a different view

I like this view a dialogue between the statue and the landmark of

Thessaloniki: the White Tower.

very good composition yhe sillouette is crisp and well positioned . I don't understand the low ratings

It is my favourite from the Thessaloniki photos I have. But maybe my aerial views are the closest to the tastes of photo.net members :)

I like this one as well. Maybe a crop to get rid of the traffic and the bottom of the statue. I agree with what has been said. Looking at this I would like to try to get a frame out of the visor in the helmet. Might be an impossible shot because of what is around there. Thanks

thanks for the comment. You are very right about cropping, it will improve a lot.

 

As for the helmet, I will go to Thessaloniki end August again, and I will stay in Thessaloniki itself, so will have more choices regarding day time, lighting etc. Last time I stayed in a village in Halkidiki, Psakoudia, and was only on a few hours trip in Thessaloniki ...
