christian.s.mendes 0 Posted May 7, 2005 Beautiful light and color. Good composition. Good work. Link to comment
jeff.grant 0 Posted May 8, 2005 Oh , Oh here comes the dissenting voice. This shot has some lovely tones but it's the blocked shadows in the lower right that let it down, IMHO. It's just this sort of result that has me trying Astia and E100G, or perhaps there is some recoverable detail for the shadow tool in PS? Link to comment
atle.g 0 Posted May 8, 2005 Thanks Jeff. Im afraid there isnt much detail, there is some details at the top of the stone, but on the right side there isnt much to reveal. I did not use Grads here wich would lift it up. And velvia is contrasty film ;-). Have never tried Astia, but perhaps i should. I imagine the tones would be more subtle/gentle too. Link to comment
jeff.grant 0 Posted May 8, 2005 Astia would probably have done well on this shot. It is seriously undersaturated when compared to Velvia, so ordinary looks ordinary but I am enjoying using it and E100G. It's well worth trying. Link to comment
leighperry 0 Posted November 25, 2005 No new uploads for a while Atle! I don't think the heavy shadow areas are too much of a concern here. The mood and palette are lovely. Regards. Link to comment
