I think everything is perfect about this picture. I'm not mad about flower pictures or macro shots but this is mesmerizing, albeit in a rather detached manner. I'm curious to know whether there has been some digital manipulation and with what type of software.

Sorry, I was in your country (Italy) for a few days, but now I'm back, so the manipulations are the usuall: unsharp mask / lil' saturation / contrast and of course made in PhotoShop.
