henrimanguy 0 Posted May 6, 2005 I have recently decided to convert some of my colour shots into black and white. What do you think of this one ? Link to comment
dmozzherin 0 Posted May 6, 2005 Great composition and tonal values. The contrast between cloud and the vegetation is fantastic, the barn (?) is just right to speak with the tree behind it. Tones of the cloud and the field are talking to each other nicely. It is a bit overshapened to my taste. Link to comment
clayton_berg 0 Posted May 6, 2005 I love the sky, it's so different. I wonder what this looks like in colour... Good shot. :) Link to comment
mcgarity 0 Posted May 6, 2005 Beautiful image. The composition is perfect. The tonal range is good. And last but not least that cloud bank is some kind of imposing. 6/6 Link to comment
magua 0 Posted May 8, 2005 Bellissima immagine in B&W, in particolare mi piace la luce ed il contrasto. Bravo! Bye - Maurizio Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted May 8, 2005 The clouds look really solid and a danger to low flying aircraft! Very effective b&w Link to comment
sef1664877429 0 Posted May 8, 2005 As others have said, great contrasts, if a bit oversharpened. Those clouds make the shot. Makes me want to run to the barn to avoid a potential thunderstorm... Link to comment
micheleberti 0 Posted May 9, 2005 Hi Henri! I've been quite busy ... in any case love the picture here and i just wonder how it would looks in colors with such a drammatic sky! Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted May 9, 2005 Thank you for your comments. In colours, the clouds looks less dramatic, and in real it was not dramatic at all. This is just a cloud made of evaporation from the fields and woods after the rain during the night. Link to comment
michael_ritchie 0 Posted May 10, 2005 Beautifully done Henry, great range of tones here. Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted December 20, 2006 Thank you for all your kind comments, and do not forget to take a look on my "In a countryside with really no touristic interest" folder. Link to comment
deniselanterman 0 Posted June 30, 2007 Henri, a beautiful composition with great tonal variations. Looks like a painting. Cheers. Denise Link to comment
