harnstrom1 0 Posted May 6, 2005 The High Key effect is lovely. Very good composition, nice pose and mood. Kind regards. Link to comment
liuyuan 0 Posted May 6, 2005 A very appealing portrait work. I just love the softness, the tonality and the high key effect. And you've got a great model there. I have no idea at all why the other one is better rated. IMHO, this one is far better. The other one might look more a high key portrait but I guess I prefer more subtle details and tonal range than washed out colours. Link to comment

kslonaker 0 Posted May 7, 2005 So how do you collaborate on a work? Do you take the shot and Jay works on it, or vice versa? I like the high key effect on this composition. Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted May 7, 2005 Hi Kim, it depends; in this case I took the shot, sent it, as it was, to Jay and he worked on it. We had similar images and a different idea about how to high-key them. For the other photos in the collaboration folder, it's different: there are two shots, one by Jay and one by me and each of us interpreted, composed his/her view-image. Thank you Link to comment
atkphotoworks 0 Posted May 7, 2005 I'm glad Kim asked the question, I was curious about it too. Either way, it is nice to see this type of collaboration happening. On the image, nice work to both of you. Link to comment
