Cloud Forest and sun rays

The sun was partially covered and in an instant, crossed through the

thin fog, creating this interesting light ray. Two seconds later was

gone. Do you think the flare spot adds or detracts from the image?

Actually the flare was a mistake, because I tried to stand behind

another tree to protect the lens from direct sunlight, which

obviously did not work.

Your shot is great, however the flare is distracting and unbalances the image. a slight underexposure would have improved this shot. sinon.... Excellent Shot. this is my opinion and thanks for sharing.

Thank you for your comment. You are right about the flare, I think the same. Also right about the exposure, which I did for the printed copy, but forgot when uploading the image here. I?ll try to correct it.
