"Out Of The Embers" A composite smoke photo

A slightly different approach to this subject. Please let me know

your thoughts, especially if you have viewed the folder. I most want

to know how you think this works in relation to other similar photos

in the same folder. Thank you for taking the time to comment.

 

Background added with PSP 9. The smoke is from an original smoke

photo, lit from below with a strobe and colored gels. The bowl was

created with Web-3D.

Nice! How did you get the smoke?

In this case the smoke is from a cigarette. I stopped using cigarettes shortly after this and now all of my smoke shots use sandalwood incense cones.

 

There is a text image in the folder that explains the technique I use for the lighting and colors in many of these shots.
