dmozzherin 0 Posted May 6, 2005 Bananaquit's beak is not long enough to get nectar from the top of the flower, neither the bird can hower like a hummingbird. So bananaquit just pierces the flower at its base and steals all the good stuff without pollinating. Link to comment
