Installation of the "rediscovered space" ("Spaces of Encounter" seminar completed in Daniel Libeskind's class)

Hi,

 

this is a more complete view of the scenography installation I posted

before.

 

Visible is also one of the boxes grabbed out from the sand, which

covers the space, forgotten maybe, and from which images are

projected, as well as the way light comes from under - or bellow - the

door the opening of which lays in the same sand.

Here comes the view of the same without the lighting effects.

And the view by night with "autolevels" from the image editor.

 

I like it without more, though, because then only the column, a foreign element is cold blue nuanced, and the sand, which belong to the "forgotten" realm, while the rest is warm coloured.

 

What do you think?

Good result with not much to work with aesthetically. Reflections on the wall from the window panes on the floor are interesting. Regards, L.

Original and fresh idea. Might take little more contrast or sharpening, but the colors are very good. Nice work Maria

To be honest, I was thinking myself to re-scan the images on this topic from negative (ie to let them be scanned by the photo shop), instead of taking the 9x13cm paper print, matt ...

first of all thanks for taking time to comment.

 

Well, the colours are determined by the installation: it is a hallogen lamp with orange filter in front of it, like for music bands, just that the lamp sits in a computer box.

 

I haven't even noticed the reflections come from the glas, I must admit ... thanks

I have just checked my negatives and it looks like the negatives of the photos of this project are in Romania, not here, so it will take a while until I scan them :(
