Tree and melting ice

The sea was melting. Ice was still hard enough to walk, but partiallycovered by water.

I wanted to take tree (common alder) with beach stones as main subjectof picture, and melting sea at background. Hopefully I succeed.

The location is Porkkala peninsula, apr.50 km east from Helsinki,Finland.

Nice composition, and I like the vaguely reddish tint. I'm not sure I get a sense of melting ice, but I like the tree and rocks nonetheless.

The main subject ofcourse is tree and stones. The melting ice is bit hard to sense, especially without colours.
