f1-fanatic 0 Posted May 1, 2005 This is a photo of a simple leaf which I found when shooting some motorcycles in upstate New York. The thing that caught my attention was that the leaf was submerged under a half an inch of running water at the top of the dam. I thought it was beautiful so I shot it. What are your thoughts? As always, your ratings and consturcive comments are greatly appreciated. Link to comment
airwinger 0 Posted May 2, 2005 Quiet original shot Norman. Did you focus manually or if not, what setting did you use so not to focus on the water surface as I notice only a shallow depth of field. 6/7 Link to comment
f1-fanatic 0 Posted May 2, 2005 Thanks for taking the time to look at my work. I only had a few seconds to grab this so I didn't have time to make a lot of adjsutments. The focus mode was "One-Shot AF". The lens was my 70-200 f/2.8 IS "L" which I really love. I took a two shots... But this one was the keeper. Thanks again for the kind words. Going to any air shows this year? I have three booked and can't wait. Will post when I can. Link to comment
airwinger 0 Posted May 2, 2005 Hi Norman, Re. Airshows:- Martin & Myself are off to Duxford(Cambridge,UK) at the weekend(7th&8th May)for their VE Day anniversary airshow. This is the First airshow of 2005 & with the help of the weather, hope to get some terrific photo's. I will also be praticing with my new Loreo 3d-Lens-in-a-cap. Find yourself a pair of red/cyan glasses as I may put up a 3D(Anaglyph) folder if I get some worth showing. Here's my mate's Norton 850 engine in 3D as an example. Link to comment
