ada-ipenburg 0 Posted May 1, 2005 I was touched when I noticed those two little girls. Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted May 2, 2005 Ada, you're getting great skin tones and colors out of that Canon. This is great, but why do they look so sad? What (if anything) did you have to do by way of post processing to get those tones and hues? Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 2, 2005 What beautiful little girls! This is very nice with the two jackets, hats and solemn little faces...What does the face paint signify? Thank you for sharing this wonderful shot, dearest. I hope you got some good ones of Flore and her friend playing, to show us as well! Link to comment
ada-ipenburg 0 Posted May 2, 2005 Hi Lannie. Yes the Canon gives wunderful, natural coloures to your shots. I think you can compare the original result with women. With a tinge of make up you can give them just a little bit more. The way I do that I've described under 'Silence before the Storm'. Why do these girls look so sad.... Good question, Lannie. I was asking myself that too. I will show you the whole shot. I think they rather looked concentrated to what was written on the board and because of their ages (I think they aren't older than 4) I doubt if they understand the announcement:). Link to comment
ada-ipenburg 0 Posted May 2, 2005 Glad you like my shot. Sweet aren't they, eh? I even don't know this girls. But as you know we live in a small village so when I hang this shot at the announcement board in the supermarket I'm sure the parents and the girls will be found in a few days. The sign on the cheeck is our national flag, Lee. Red-white and bleu and orange is the colour of or Royal Family. The pennant is orange and we add that to the flag when we celebrate an occasion which has to do with our Royal Family. The 4the of May for example, when we recall the deads of the WO II and the 5the when we celebrate our freedom, we only struck the red-white and blue. I show you with how much pleasure Flore and Fleur have made music last saterday. They've played till they got pain in their fingers. But the entire was great and the public was very enthusiastic! novastorm 0 Posted May 2, 2005 I would like to see in that hat on the ground! Good shooting Ada. They are all fun pictures. The one of Flore is my favorite. She makes it look so easy :) Link to comment
ada-ipenburg 0 Posted May 2, 2005 It's great to see you again;))). I understand you like the shot with Flore the most. She is the only one who seems to be happy here;) Besides, a look in the hat should have disappointed you. For the money we created an other, very complicated, but more save object: a two-headed totem pool with tubes for the coins. More than two meters high. Not such a thing that could be easily stolen. And that was a great relief for the little musicians:))) Link to comment
wilsontsoi 0 Posted May 3, 2005 Flore gets my vote, too. She is definitely having a ball with the instrument! Please send my warm regards to her. ^_^ Link to comment
