aepelbacher 0 Posted April 30, 2005 Howdy y'all!! I am experimenting with photo.net opinions. I have mixed emotions about this image. There is a part of me that thinks it lacks a subject. But part of me thinks that it's got a relaxing-landscape aspect. What do you think? Link to comment
rkynast 1 Posted April 30, 2005 I agree with both - it lacks a subject but leaves a peaceful feeling. Regards. Link to comment
nabs 0 Posted April 30, 2005 I like this photo very much coz the place look so similar to the place where i stay. I think the sepia gives it a nostalgic touch. Regards. Link to comment
dennis jones 0 Posted May 1, 2005 Has a nice warm, but cloudy feeling to it. Do like the tones. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted May 1, 2005 Dennis - any time I work in tri or quadtones, you come to mind. So, you can count yourself as part of the inspiration for the post-processing here. :-) Link to comment
wilsontsoi 0 Posted May 3, 2005 Lou Ann, I do like the tone and the serenity, too. The subject matter is not so clear, but then again why not the landscape itself being the subject? Basically, the 1/3 horizon and tonality carry this one through. Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted May 6, 2005 Is this a tritone? Looks like an old image. I like all the gentle curves. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted May 7, 2005 Yes - I used tritone here. I like that better than the sepia filter sometimes. I have more control over the exact colors. The view is actually very nice for the PA countryside.... Link to comment
