Howdy y'all!! I am experimenting with photo.net opinions. I have mixed emotions about this image. There is a part of me that thinks it lacks a subject. But part of me thinks that it's got a relaxing-landscape aspect. What do you think?

I like this photo very much coz the place look so similar to the place where i stay. I think the sepia gives it a nostalgic touch. Regards.

Dennis - any time I work in tri or quadtones, you come to mind. So, you can count yourself as part of the inspiration for the post-processing here. :-)

Lou Ann, I do like the tone and the serenity, too. The subject matter is not so clear, but then again why not the landscape itself being the subject? Basically, the 1/3 horizon and tonality carry this one through.

Yes - I used tritone here. I like that better than the sepia filter sometimes. I have more control over the exact colors. The view is actually very nice for the PA countryside....
