tholte 16,678 Posted May 1, 2005 Good portrait, lighting, tones and scan. I don't know how you did it but it looks really good on my screen. I like the kids attitude also. Link to comment
connealy 0 Posted May 2, 2005 I like the shot - kind of Elvis-retro. And the Bronica did its job. There seems to be a bit of Photoshop misbehavior in the hair and hairline, though. Link to comment
Mike Marcotte 49,934 Posted May 3, 2005 The lighting was good that day coming in through the window, & this was done on a Epson 4870 pro scanner. I'm still not real good at it. I've never done negatives before. Mike I didn't notice that splotch on his forehead, 'til now. I think it may have something to do with the way I loaded the scanner. I think this machine is going to do ok for me if I learn how to use it. I wish I had kept more negatives. Link to comment
tholte 16,678 Posted May 3, 2005 Mike, I think it looks real good. I had a cheap Microtek scanner and got such lousy results that it forced me to buy a digital camera. I also bought a Minolta film scanner but could never get the thing to work. I sent it back to Minolta and they said it was fine. I will let it sit in its box and see if it gets better in a few months. Is that your daughter getting married in two weeks? A beautiful young woman thats for sure and a great model. Link to comment
Mike Marcotte 49,934 Posted May 5, 2005 Thanks Tim, & I know what you mean, if worse comes to worse I'll read the directions fot that scanner. Link to comment
