touchinglightphotography 0 Posted April 27, 2005 Roberto: This is great! I really like the color, the brilliance, and the subtle lighting you have in your water drop photos. What is your source of light in these photos? I have tried similar shots...and find that indirect illumination with my Canon 420EX off camera flash is barely enough to stop the motion at ISO100, if I illuminate the backdrop VERY close to the drop. What are your parameters (shutter speed/illumination and source/f/stop)? Here is one of my photos taken with my kitchen counter-top set-up...here...but this photo was taken with direct (diffused) flash illumination. I'll be happy to post another "drop" photo sans flower to show you if you'd like. ...also, I presume you almost have a steady stream of water falling (very closely spaced drops)...is that correct?
