I like the portrait, but I find the frame a little distracting. Perhaps if shadow was on four sides, or not at all it might enhance the photo more.

Tennessee Walker? I ask that because of the shape of her head, and a big characteristic of TWH is flashy coloring and they seem to be quite the characters-all of which you have captured here. The one ear forward/one turned shows personality and the sepia tone shows off her markings against that sky. The fence and tree add structure/framing-Nice! Is she the foal in "mother Daughter"?

Yes! that is her. She is a year old this week, plenty of personality. As far as Tennesee Walker... I have no clue. Mom is a palamino, that's all I can tell you for sure.
