michaelseewald 237 Posted April 25, 2005 Sometimes one sees a person with such character that it is necessary to drop the fear of asking them to pose so you can 'capture them'. Do many of you think it's easy to ask a stranger to pose? I have done it hundreds of times over the decades, and still it feels strange to do it. Very seldom do folks refuse, but some are quite adamant NOT to have their photo taken. In Japan, the tables turned and I was the one asked to do the posing, especially many guys would want me to pose with their girlfriends. It also happened here in China too. Link to comment
mrhaydon 0 Posted April 26, 2005 I feel this is a great shot Michael, we don't see that many pics of this part of the world. A picture can tell a thousand words. His life seems to be etched into his face...a wonderful travel shot I'm glad you asked him for his photo. Link to comment
michaelseewald 237 Posted April 28, 2005 Thanks folks. I think the 'bonus info' is the matching greens and blues throughout the image. It's the little things that make some more special over others. Link to comment

michaelseewald 237 Posted April 28, 2005 You should have some good ones from here too. Didn't you get one of this guy too? You back in China? If not, I'll buzz you up in Seattle later. Link to comment
cathyscholl 0 Posted May 27, 2005 Gorgeous. Love that his head has the black behind it. Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted June 1, 2005 Excellent, Michael. Excellent for the worker in the foreground; a face like an enigmatic book to be read; excellent in composition. Link to comment
