nicholasprice 0 Posted April 24, 2005 Hello Rick. This is a most successful abstract, and unusually it works exceedingly well in Black & White! 6/6 Regards Nick. Link to comment
robertbrown 1 Posted April 25, 2005 This is an interesting approach here--and really not in your usual style. While perhaps not as pretty as a more traditional presentation, this shot turns the rose into an abstract where the focus is purely on light and shapes. Good one. Link to comment
ricklundh 0 Posted April 26, 2005 Thanks for the comment. I really like how this looks as though it was lit from behind/inside. It is different than my normal shots, but I have been trying to get some diversity in my images. Something that appeals to different groups. I'm gearing up to sell some stuff. I'll be displaying my work at the Canon Beach chamber of commerce on the 4th of July weekend. Thanks for the comment! Link to comment
robertbrown 1 Posted April 26, 2005 Rick, good luck with showing your work in Cannon Beach--you certainly have enough quality photos! If I'm in town that weekend, I might try to slip into Cannon Beach early, breakfast at Lazy Susan Cafe, then check out your photos. If you're interested in my thoughts (for what they're worth) about selling in galleries, let me know. Link to comment
ricklundh 0 Posted April 26, 2005 It would be a pleasure to get your experience on selling. I really don't know what to expect. Send me an email and I'll reply back to ya to chat offline... galfur@yahoo.com And it would be cool to have you stop by if ya can! -Rick Link to comment
BobSandford 0 Posted April 27, 2005 A very intriguing abstract. I really like the composition and the organic shapes and light. Link to comment
