lauro1 0 Posted April 23, 2005 It is like a picture. Your painting effect has been well done. Link to comment
david robinson 0 Posted April 25, 2005 Interesting combination of elements here. Mario, maybe a tad too much contrast. The church is looking like it was pasted there. Regards... Link to comment
mbalzan 0 Posted April 25, 2005 Thanks for the comments. The image is as shot, the church and sky were all there,no pastings, just playing with photoshop. Regards to all. Link to comment
petescheu 0 Posted April 26, 2005 I think the painting effect added just the right touch for this shot, well done. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted April 26, 2005 I like the melange Mario. very unusual combination...looks like earthy and spirituality were connected together. Nice ! Pnina Link to comment
chips2 0 Posted April 26, 2005 I voiced the same as Pnina about the spirituality feel to it ! Link to comment
david robinson 0 Posted April 26, 2005 Mario, for clarification-- I wasn't suggesting that the church was pasted. I was suggesting that the level of contrast is such that it is making the church appear to be pasted. It is stepping out of its pictorial space. Regards... Link to comment

treeffe 0 Posted April 27, 2005 Hi Mario, usually I don't like to muche work on picture, but in this case I think the overall effect is great! as you said like a painting. COngrats. Fabio Link to comment
carsten_ranke 0 Posted April 29, 2005 Yes, very beautiful result, nice color contrast. The only thing I would consider is cloning out the pole above the hayroll Link to comment
jmcconnell2 0 Posted May 16, 2005 Well balanced composition, interesting building, 6/6 Link to comment
glenn mellen 0 Posted May 19, 2005 Excellent composition, but think I'd like this photo better without the photoshop effects. Link to comment
steve_lowther 0 Posted May 24, 2005 This definitely has a painterly quality to it. I disagree that it has too much of a photoshop influence. The only criticism I can offer is totally subjective, something you might want to try just to see if you like the effect better. I would try deepening the tones in the lower left corner shadows -- not necessarily in a "burned in corner" way, but keeping some of the highlights. All in all, I think you have something that could arguably be called a masterpiece here. Very well done. Thank you for your recent comments on my work. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted June 27, 2006 Sui generis. A byzantine nature study. Certainly a place like this exists only in the imagination of the artist. Link to comment
