radim_schreiber 0 Posted April 21, 2005 amazing DOF! What camera, lens, light? Thanks for sharing. Was the dragonfly alive? Is it blue screen studio setup? Link to comment
davemckillop 0 Posted April 21, 2005 Lens is a Leica zoom lens 9.2x but didn't use the full range. Blue foam as a background. Link to comment
manel_soria 0 Posted April 22, 2005 The image quality is amazing, DOF really impressive. For the context I guess that the animal was dead. Can you please comment on the camera used ? Link to comment

jeff_henderson 0 Posted April 22, 2005 Yikes. I get shivers when I see this but it is a fantastic photo. I'm not a macro guy so I don't know how you were able to get all that dof in this shot, but it is truly amazing! Link to comment

rnandwana 0 Posted August 9, 2007 dave what an amazing image. what i furher appreciate is your openness in sharing the technic. the eyes have a glow on the upper periphery. probably it was housed in a special diffuser box lit from other sides. The DOF is also amazing. is it a HDR? one of the best macros i have seen in recent times. Link to comment

lkld 0 Posted February 27, 2008 Nothing to critique...a simply wonderful shot. At this level of macro, it takes on an almost animal quality. Great job!! Link to comment
