Rabobank taking control during the Amstel Gold Race, a Pro-series

cycling race in the Netherlands. Weather was so awful that the TV-

helicopter couldn't even fly, race fans had to follow the race on

the ground and by radio. The bad weather forced me to use a flash.

Does your flash have exposure compensation? If so try dialing it down 1/2-2/3 of a stop. This should reduce the "flashed" look but still give you good exposure.

The flash doesn't but I could do that through my camera. This was one of the rare occasions where I used a flash outdoors. So I lack some experience in this field. Thanks for the tip.
