WJT 609 Posted April 19, 2005 Well Mike, this is certainly not your usual Easter Lilly photograph! Overall, I like the composition, with the faded flower and the clean white lace of the curtain. My eye keeps going to the open window and the green outside, however, and I would like it to be shut. If the window were closed, and all that was there were the glare of the light on the pane, I think would strengthen the image. Just an opinion. Regards. Link to comment
raddatzphoto 0 Posted May 12, 2005 Walter, I was hoping to capture the sense of loss...from the lilly's standpoint, and ohh, how it wished it could be out there.... Link to comment
WJT 609 Posted July 7, 2005 Ah! I see that now. That feeling totally escaped me; I am somewhat of a dullard at times. Regards. Link to comment
rina 0 Posted February 27, 2006 Michael, I am always captivated by fading flowers. dont?t know why.Lilies are not easy to shot imo in this condition. You succeded because you have the window and curtain in the frame. The clean bright white curtain is kind of surreal. Link to comment
