I like this shot on many levels. It is very simple and seems to have everything in the right place.

I like the depth which you get from following the poles, and the rythm and the sense of progression they imply: the first is clearly anchored in the foreground. The second, with its darker hues at the base is clearly to the right of the shot, into another chromatic world, and pulls you away from the line between the first and the third. Finally, the third seems to be below the horizon and therefore is definitly "far away". This really works.

I also like the contrast between the sharpness of the first pole and the blurred nature of the landscape and the foggy vision of the last pole: this really tells you better follow them or get lost.
