I like it as well. It has been done before but you have done it better than most. Beautiful compoisition, especially with the diagonals in the lower left and upper right.

Thanks for your encouragement. I realise this is a simple photograph but it is one of these ones that I like myself.

I must admit, I did not think you would have commented on this. I think that makes your comment all the more valuable.

Thanks!

It might be a ordinary building but you have captured at a very good angle that enhances its gigantic height. Very fine details of the building too.

Thanks Cherlyn. There actually 2 buildings here. The one on the left is 'China Bank Tower' and the one on the right is 'Cheung Kong Center.' (Yes they spelt it the American way!)

Thanks for looking.

your version is more abstract, which I like. My version is a closer crop, but because of the straight-on angle and the difference in lighting, it's more easy to tell my 2 buildings apart. With your photo, it almost looks like the 2 buildings have melded together. Good job.

Thanks T, Kind words indeed. I guess one of the beauties of photography is that we all see things differently. I like the way you see things and I am looking forward to seeing more of the way you see things. Thanks again!

Yes, I see what you mean, there is something very drawing about these tall buildings, the work of mankind to reach up to the stars I guess...

Roger, I am humbled that you left a comment here. I included the link so that you could see it. Thanks for taking the time.

If you like photographing tall buildings, you would love Hong Kong. Having said that, it is difficult to get far enough away from them to photograph in the first place as they are all so crammed together. Thanks again!

How very true, the sheer mass and size of some buildings make a good shot hard from the ground floor and still a chalange from hights...being a country boy, I find them so very interesting and draw my attention every time I visit a large city. Yes, Hong Hong would be a real fun place for me, my next town to visit will be Melbourne Australia, a lovley town as well, but way on the other side of the planet !
