dwm1953 0 Posted April 16, 2005 OK as is, but the horizon is tilted about one degree CCW, and I prefer it like this... Link to comment
davidroossien 0 Posted April 17, 2005 Pretty photo. I like the foreground pale-orange and the gray swirly stuff. Orange isn't a color I'm used to seeing in landscapes. The detail on the cliff is excellent. Link to comment
hanna_cowpe 0 Posted April 17, 2005 Thanks David and David for stopping to comment. This was a bit of a problem shot because due to the long drop, there was a guard rail. I had to hang sideways over the rail to get enough of the cliff in the picture and had difficulty judging just how straight the horizon was with the camera tilted one way and my head the other. I didn't want to lose any of the cliff in rotating the image so I left the slightly sloping horizon. But it does irritate me. I did go back and shoot it with slide to get it right. I was enthralled with the colours of the limestone around this coast and would have been happy shooting it all day (if only I could absail) Link to comment
