... your flies are all the same for quite some time now. This is not to say that the photo isn't good. It's great and I, most probably, couldn't manage to reach this quality. But IMHO it's boring and I really don't understand the high originality rating you got for another fly macro.

Thank you, Anton, for your comment! I don't want to get into why people rate this one as high originality image, but I'll tell why I rate high originality when it comes to macro images:

1. balanced exposure. (not an easy thing to achieve)

2. perfect details.

3. natural colors.

4. composition/crop.

5. good capture of an unusual scene.

6. quality, DOF, smooth & blurry background.

I hope the raters of this image think so too.
