Elegantly simple and full of little details (thanks to that nicely deep depth of field) that make this woman who she is. This photograph illustrates the concept of honesty and truth in imagery extremely well, in my opinion.

Thanks, Jim. Attached is an image of her from at least 50 years ago. A once-vibrant, powerful woman, now ravaged by Alzheimer's. But still beautiful to me.

A eye-catching portrait. By way of critique, I find the skewed verticals in the bg a bit distracting, and the lighting on Granny's face is a bit too harsh. But her posture and expression are haunting.
