Interesting essay in contrasts here. He looks like he's decked out in layers, long pants, sunglasses, etc. She with more skin showing, including her face. Good work, as usual, Howard!

I'm finding this one a little unsettling myself. Her face isn't sharp, so my eyes travel to his face, then notice the blurred hand, then the lighting competes, as well. Could be just me...

It's not you Kim. Everything you said is true. However, the image captures something worthwhile even thought it isn't better exposed. So I processed and posted. There is something about this couple that captured my interest.

CR: Restless, rugged, appearing out of a hard lightened background - the shot is merciless. Her blurred face is the weak point. REgards

This one I like! There's a story happening here and their relationship is coming through strongly. The blurriness worries me a little but is completely outweighed by the rest of the shot. It's a pretty good slice of life. Thumbs up!

Love this kind of images where viewers can make out thier own stories. David is right. She really looks like a younger, lighter version of Kirsty Alley! He definitely was checking her out. I like seeing both of their faces. The lack of sharpness is a non-issue with me here. Fun street shot, Howard. ^_^

...is not what makes a good street shot but rather the story that is captured or implied - that is what is important. Great shot Howard.
